Overview
Enduring Material: Placenta Accreta Spectrum Disorder

Objectives

At the conclusion of this interprofessional continuing education activity, participants will be able to:


  1. Participants will be able to identify key risk factors and clinical indicators associated with placenta accreta spectrum disorder.
  2. Participants will be able to describe evidence-based approaches for the diagnosis and prediction of placenta accreta spectrum disorder.
  3. Participants will be able to explain team-based management strategies for patients with placenta accreta spectrum disorder, including coordination among obstetrics, anesthesia, neonatology, blood bank, interventional radiology, and surgical teams.
  4. Participants will be able to apply hemorrhage preparedness and surgical planning principles to improve maternal and neonatal outcomes in high-risk placenta accreta spectrum cases.
