Healthcare in rural America is facing a quiet crisis. This enduring material course, Left Behind Rural Health, provides a deep dive into the socio-economic, geographic, and systemic barriers that impact health outcomes in rural populations. Participants will analyze real-world case studies detailing the impact of rural hospital closures, chronic provider shortages, and limited access to specialized care.


Objectives

  3. Recommend targeted solutions to overcome disparities.
